📋 Student Grievance Redressal Mechanism

The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) aims to address complaints lodged by students and provide appropriate redressal. Students can state their grievances regarding any academic or non-academic matters within the campus through the suggestion box or online grievance portal.

🔧 Mechanism of GRC

  1. GRC shall consider only individual grievances of a specific nature raised by students or staff.
  2. Collective grievances raised by more than one individual will not be considered.
  3. Upon receiving a complaint, the committee will evaluate the merit of the case and decide on further action promptly.
  4. GRC may mediate between the complainant and the respondent, if required.
  5. The committee aims to resolve grievances within a reasonable time frame.
  6. Periodic reports will be submitted to higher authorities, seeking guidance if necessary.

📌 Scope

The students may lodge grievances related to the following:

  • Timely issue of duplicate mark sheets, transfer certificates, conduct certificates, or other examination and scholarship-related matters.
  • Dues and payments for various items from the library, hostels, and other financial matters.
  • Concerns regarding sanitation, food quality, transportation, victimization by teachers, or any other offensive activities.

📝 Procedure for Lodging a Complaint

  • Students can drop a written complaint (anonymous, if preferred) in the grievance/suggestion box.
  • The Grievance Cell will act upon cases forwarded with necessary documentation.
  • Students can also lodge grievances through the online mechanism using the provided link.
