About Prof. K. Atchuta Kumar

Prof. K. Atchuta Kumar currently serves as the Principal and Professor at Srinivasarao College of Pharmacy, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. With a Ph.D. from AU College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andhra University, and a specialization in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry during his M.Pharm with a UGC fellowship, Prof. Kumar brings immense knowledge and expertise. He completed his B.Pharm from Siddhartha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Vijayawada.

Experience & Recognition

Prof. Kumar has over 19 years of teaching and administrative experience in Andhra University and JNTUK-affiliated colleges. He has been ratified as Principal, Professor, and Research Guide by Andhra University. Additionally, he is a lifetime member of APTI (Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India) and PTT (Pharmacy Teachers Trust), further solidifying his commitment to the field.

Research & Publications

Prof. Kumar has authored over 39 research and review papers published in national and international journals. He has also presented his research in more than 15 national seminars and conferences. As a subject evaluator and resource person, he has contributed significantly to academic discussions and evaluations.

Leadership Roles

Prof. Kumar has served as a convenor for faculty development programs, seminars, conferences, workshops, and various institutional events. His leadership is instrumental in enhancing academic excellence and fostering a research-driven culture at the college.
