Ragging constitutes one or more of the following acts:
Any conduct by students, whether by words or actions, that teases, treats, or handles a fresher or any student with rudeness.
Indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities causing annoyance, hardship, or psychological harm to any fresher or student.
Forcing a student to do acts that cause shame, torment, or embarrassment, adversely affecting their physique or psyche.
Preventing or disturbing regular academic activities of any student or fresher.
Exploiting freshers for academic tasks assigned to a group or individual.
Financial extortion or forceful expenditure burden imposed by other students.
Physical abuse, including sexual abuse, stripping, forcing obscene acts, gestures, or causing bodily harm.
Verbal or written abuse, including through emails or public insults, deriving sadistic thrill by causing discomfort to others.
Any act affecting the mental health or self-confidence of a fresher, with or without the intent of deriving sadistic pleasure or showing power or superiority.
